We are pleased to report a strong holiday quarter driven by Battlefield 3, FIFA 12 and a strong showing by our digital games and services,
FIFA 12 (released late September '11) sold a similar amount of units. If Battlefield 3's third quarter sales rate is continuing and counting in the holidays, the current count might be at about 12.5 million copies. Origin is also catching on with gamers, it helped to generate some $100 million in revenue for the company during the same quarter. Battlefield 3 is still one of the most popular products on Origin.

with all of this money you would think they would provide a better product, but such is the world we live in these days.

A big fat THIS ^^^^
Origin is ONLY popular (if you can even use that word) because PC players were obviously forced to have/use it.. DUH.

Based on this report, thats what i took away from it as well. that was not however BF3's loss. that was a company wide loss. I did not see, in this report, how BF3 did compared to the investment they put into it. i know they put $100M in pre-release advertisment lol gimme a little piece of that pie and I will dis-appear never to be seen again.
